Delivery Driver - Glenwood Springs- Western Distributing Co. - Beverage

Individual will be responsible for loading truck and making deliveries to accounts in the designated area for that day. Delivery areas will include Grand Junction, Aspen, Steamboat and Summit County. Individual must maintain a professional attitude and appearance and will be responsible for the condition and cleanliness of their assigned vehicle. Must have valid Colorado Driver License and clean MVR. Work schedule will be Wednesday – Friday 8 am – route completion - working towards full time.

 

Sales Consultant / Western Slope – Western Distributing Co. - Beverage

Western Distributing is seeking a Sales Consultant for the Wine Division. Individual will service and sell Off and On Premise customers in Vail and Roaring Fork Valleys. Will be responsible for brand building by driving distribution, selling in and building displays, cold box placements, pricing management, point of sale merchandising, promotions and shelf management. Candidate must have the ability to create a compelling business proposition focusing on various customer needs. Must be service oriented and respond quickly to customer requests. Individual must stay aware and inform the company of any competitive activity in addition to managing and tracking required data. Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to adapt and build strong business relationships with diverse customers. Bachelor’s Degree, minimum two years’ experience selling wine or buying wine as an employee of a retail outlet, valid driver license and clean MVR required.

 

Towing Dispatch Supervisor – Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

Oversee the towing and hauling operation while the TGM is out of the office. In addition to the standard tasks listed below for a Tow Dispatcher, a Towing Dispatch Supervisor will make sure that dispatchers and drivers are working in the best interest of our customers and Western. Deal with complaints from drivers and customers promptly. Report accidents and claims to the TGM and Safety Manager immediately. Oversee and double check tow tickets and invoices. Report late/No show dispatchers/drivers to TGM when out of the office. Resolve and report safety issues to the TGM and Safety Manager immediately. Email the shop on truck issues and required repairs. Be a key player in the planning and projects for increasing profits. Support the TGM with accomplishing the goals set by the VP and company. Be helpful to all departments and a friendly face, problem solver for other Western team members. Take calls from the customers and dispatch tow truck accordingly. Evaluate customer situation/needs and advise the drivers. Maintain control of the tow trucks and drivers, while ensuring that the customers’ situation/needs are taken care of in a quick and efficient manner. Keep customers up to date on their tow/job requests. Ensure that the drivers are charging the correct rate and filling their tow tickets out completely. Review and enter tow reports into TMW. Keep TMW current to what the tow trucks are doing. Help customers and Western with billing issues and corrections. Work as a team, keep the towing and company goals in mind at all times. Re-enforce goals and company policies to the drivers. Support the whole Western team in being profitable. Day to day tasks will include but are not limited to quoting tows and loads according to the set rates. Helping drivers find locations and calling for more information on a job or tow. Must maintain a high level of professionalism and self-control while working in stressful situations. Communication is key, being able to understand and relay information from the customer to the tow truck operator is essential. Manage all Breakdowns for USAC, Reefer and Auto Transport Depts. Keep all Depts. updated in a timely manner. Forward sales leads to the TGM and TSC. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 6 am to 3 pm with on call status.

 

Human Resource Director – Western Distributing Company

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure Company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. Investigation and resolution of employee concerns and grievances. Mediation, employment separations and exit interviews. Direct preparation, distribution and communication of written and verbal information informing employees of benefits, compensation and personnel policies. Administrate all employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, LTD, life insurance, supplemental insurance, 401K, FSA, HSA FMLA and Cobra. Administrate worker’s compensation program and ensure OSHA reporting compliance. Handle sensitive and confidential materials/situations with respect and discretion. Develop methods to improve employment policies, processes, practices and recommend changes to management. Process, verify and maintain personnel related documentation including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evalutations, classifications and employee leave requests. Oversee all aspects of payroll processing. Consortium management and annual MIS reporting. Track staff vacancies, post openings, assist with vetting applicants as needed. Administrate Affirmative Action Plan and comply with reporting requirements. Handle all unemployment claims and act as Company representative in any formal hearings.

Individual will perform various duties in production area including but not limited to: vinyl prep, sign building, packaging, cleaning, etc. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

 

General Sales Representative - Western Distributing Co. - Beverage

Western Distributing is seeking a General Sales Representative for the Wine Division. Individual will service and sell Off and On Premise customers on a temporary basis in open territories. Individual will also be responsible for merchandising and filling store shelves based on need, and hand sell assigned accounts. Must be service oriented and respond quickly to customer requests. Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to adapt and build strong business relationships with diverse customers. Must have the ability to adapt to new environments often and be accepting of numerous schedule changes. Applicants must have Bachelor’s Degree and previous customer service experience. Valid driver license and clean MVR required. Work schedule is Tuesday – Saturday unless otherwise scheduled.

Duties to include the following: Take calls from the customers and dispatch tow truck accordingly. Evaluate customer situation/needs and advise the tow drivers. Maintain control of the tow trucks and drivers, while ensuring that the customer’s situation/needs are taken care of quickly and properly. Keep customers up to date on their tow/job requests. Individual will be working in fleet maintenance repair shop dealing directly with shop mechanics and outside customers. 3 years of automotive and heavy duty truck parts experience is required. Must work well in a team environment with strong communication and customer service skills. Previous experience with TMT Fleet Maintenance software for inventory, invoicing and purchase orders is a plus, however we are willing to train the right individual. Seeking a Trailer Mechanic for general repair and preventive maintenance on fleet dry vans and refrigerated trailers. Work schedule is Tuesday – Friday 2 pm to 10:30 pm and Saturday 7 am to 3:30 pm.

 

Vinyl & Sign Installer – Fineline Graphics and Design

Main job duties will include installation of signage, vehicle spot graphics and vehicle wraps. Will work closely with production manager and install crew in order to efficiently and successfully complete vinyl and signage work load. Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must have the desire and ability to keep work environment clean and tidy for work efficiency and customer satisfaction. Must be motivated and detail oriented. Experience in Vinyl application required. Job will involve on site as well as off-site Vinyl and Signage installations of all types. Current driver license with good MVR is required. Working at heights above 6’ may be required. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Looking for teams of long haul drivers for USAC Division. Must have firearms qualifications, financial integrity, minimum of 3 years OTR driving experience and be able to pass extensive background checks. Must have Class A CDL and good MVR.

 

Automotive Technician – Western Truck & Auto

Automotive technician needed for high volume repair shop. Applicants should be familiar with all aspects of automotive repair, some medium duty experience helpful. Candidates must have strong communication skills. Individuals must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and supply their own tools. Class A license helpful but not required. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 6 am -2:30 pm with some Saturdays.

Seeking a Diesel Truck Mechanic for fleet repair shop. Preventive and general truck repair. Cummins diagnostic experience and CDL helpful but not required. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm.

Winberg a manufacturer of performance automotive parts is seeking full time manual machinists. Duties will include: manual mill operation, manual lathe operation, hydraulic press operation, manual grinding and general work area cleanliness. A general understanding of basic physics and math is required. Work schedule is Monday – Friday.

 

Shop Mechanic Automotive & Heavy Duty – Western Truck & Auto

Duties to include: perform complete and accurate diagnosis of vehicle mechanical breakdowns, manually or by means of computerized diagnostic tools. Communicate with Front Office to ensure complete and accurate estimates are in place prior to customer notification. Discuss repairs with customer upon request. Perform DOT inspections as required. Ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely fashion. Individuals will be responsible for shop clean up, disposal of parts and materials along with other duties assigned by management. Must have valid driver license (CDL helpful) with clean MVR. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 2 pm to 10:30 pm with some weekends.

Duties to include picking up parts from various vendors, parts warehouses and performing shop clean up duties when not driving. Must be familiar with Denver and surrounding areas. Will pick up and drop off trucks for service repairs when needed. Will be required to lift up to 80lbs and must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles. Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills. Must have valid driver license (Class A CDL a plus) with clean MVR. Work schedule is Tuesday – Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday 7 am to 3:30 pm.

 

Mobile Mechanic / Dillon – Western Truck & Auto

Duties to include: perform complete and accurate diagnosis of mechanical breakdowns, manually or by means of computerized diagnostic tools. Communicate effectively with dispatch office and customers throughout the repair process. Write accurate and complete estimates for customers and obtain approval for repairs. Order and facilitate delivery of parts for all repairs. Perform DOT inspections and miscellaneous shop repairs as requested by manager. Stock and perform scheduled maintenance on assigned service truck. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Airbrake, scan tool and laptop training is helpful but not required.
