Cleaning Supervisor – Western Distributing Company

Performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining building and grounds, keeping equipment in clean, orderly and functional condition. Provides assistance to staff, visitors and other employees as necessary. General Duties, performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule, maintains inventory of cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment and submits orders for supplies when necessary, replenishes restroom supplies if needed, Replaces light bulbs, clears snow from entrances and walkways, picks up and delivers supplies and materials to divisions, follows all applicable safety rules and procedures, participates in general cleaning, painting, and repair work, uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining the grounds, provides assistance to officials, staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary, assigns and supervises the training and work of all custodial/maintenance personnel, care of trees, lawns, and shrubbery; snow and ice removal. Qualifications Profile, the skills and knowledge required would generally be obtained with previous experience in building cleaning and maintenance work, ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions, ability to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner, ability to acquire job skills with three months of on-the-job training, ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 25 to 50 pounds, ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow, required to work in a supervisory capacity with custodial staff. Parts Sales & Service Writer – Carz Performance

Carz Performance is a high performance automotive performance center that is looking for an individual who is experienced in retail aftermarket performance auto part sales & service. Must have in depth car knowledge, know how most Electronic Fuel Injection systems work, sound judgment, be able to multi-task, organize and prioritize work load to ensure timely completion of projects. Towing Dispatcher / Dillon -Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

Duties to include the following: Take calls from the customers and dispatch tow truck accordingly. Evaluate customer situation/needs and advise the tow drivers. Maintain control of the tow trucks and drivers, while ensuring that the customers’ situation/needs are taken care of in a quick and efficient manner. Keep customers up to date on their tow/job requests. Ensure that the drivers are charging the correct rate and filling their tow tickets out completely. Review and enter tow reports into TMW. Keep TMW current to what the tow trucks are doing. Help customers and Western with billing issues and corrections. Work as a team, keep the towing and company goals in mind at all times. Re-enforce goals and company policies to the drivers. Work on sales projects and special assignments that are requested by the Dispatch Supervisor (DS), Office Manager (OM) and Towing General Manager (TGM). Support the whole Western team in being profitable. Day to day tasks will include but are not limited to quoting tow and landoll moves according to the rates set forth by the TGM. Heavy Haul Tow Truck Driver/ Landoll – Western Towing - Denver

Looking for self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently. Must be at least 25 years old with no felony or misdemeanor convictions. Must have valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no DUI, DWI, etc.). Individual must have geographic knowledge of Colorado Western Slope and be able to work in all weather conditions. Driver must be knowledgeable of vehicle loading and recovering. Candidates must successfully pass physical abilities evaluation. Candidates must be capable of reading, writing and speaking the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand directions and traffic signals, to respond to official inquires and to make entries on reports and records. Individual must have strong communication skills, maintain a professional appearance and keep a clean organized truck. Must be available to work both days and nights. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.

 

Reefer Sales – Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

This position is responsible for the cooperative effort of gathering, soliciting profitable, higher paying freight with consent of the VP, GM and Logistics. This person reports to the Reefer GM and works closely with the Load Planners. In consulting the Reefer GM, the Sales Manager works with the Dispatch Team to accomplish several goals – keeping the trucks loaded with minimum layover time, keeping the rates/profit as high as possible, keeping the customers happy so that they return with more loads to keep the trucks busy. This person will be required to spend a minimum of 70% of their time on the street, dropping by checking on current customers, our progress with them, entertaining them, and always looking for new business with existing and/or new customers. Travel will be required at times to acquire customers with volume out of an area. The issuing of rate sheets to customers and required personnel in the office will need to be completed in a timely manner. Holiday greeting cards, calendars, and promotional items will also need to be looked at, and proposed if new or additional needs are required. Files and copies of all transactions need to be maintained on each customer. Customer service will be sales’ biggest priority trying to keep the customer happy, while still making a profit for the company. The Sales Manager will coordinate travel and sales calls with the Reefer GM so that time and efforts are not spent soliciting the same customers/sales areas. The Sales Manager will play a big role in developing and expanding our brokerage program into a profitable aspect of the reefer division. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 8 am -5 pm with necessary travel and entertainment.

WDTC – Reefer division has a night dispatch opening duties include but not limited to; being able to work with minimal to no supervision. Track all reefer trucks and monitor on time pickups and deliveries. Any customer reporting required for night pickups and deliveries will be done in a timely manner. Track loads once assigned to driver, report any late pick-ups or deliveries or service issues to customer in a timely manner. Communicate with customer service and accounting departments of any issues that need to be addressed in the A.M. Updating trips with accurate times in visual dispatch. Help track loads and update as necessary. T-checks for over the road expenses and fuel overrides are handled by the night dispatcher. Supervision of local fleet – all local loads delivered on time and trailers picked up according to customer requirements. Responsible for tracking temps on trailers loaded and being loaded. Night dispatcher will send out notes to the day shift letting them know of any ongoing or resolved issues. Work schedule will be Monday thru Friday 2 to 10:30 P.M.

Mobile Mechanic- Western Summit Mobile

Duties to include: perform complete and accurate diagnosis of mechanical breakdowns, manually or by means of computerized diagnostic tools. Communicate effectively with dispatch office and customers throughout the repair process. Write accurate and complete estimates for customers and obtain approval for repairs. Order and facilitate delivery of parts for all repairs. Perform DOT inspections and miscellaneous shop repairs as requested by manager. Stock and perform scheduled maintenance on assigned service truck. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Airbrake, scan tool and laptop training is helpful but not required. Seeking individual with a minimum of 3 verifiable years of TIG welding, and chassis building experience. Person must be a proficient TIG welder, of thin steel, .032” and above, Aluminum of same thicknesses. Tube fitter, and fabricator. Maintains transport trailer serviceability by conducting inspections; making repairs Duties: Keeps transport trailers available for use by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests using scanners, electronic test equipment, and on-board diagnostic computers, Maintains transport trailer condition by reviewing shop orders; listening to operator complaints; repairing failures; removing, replacing, assembling, and installing parts and components involving sheet metal, frames, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and braking systems, heating and refrigeration units axles, hubs, tires, wheels, and coupling units. Complies with federal and state requirements by testing according to standards; making corrections and adjustments. Maintains transport trailer appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting. Individual will be working in fleet maintenance repair shop dealing directly with shop mechanics and outside customers. Must have at least 3 years’ of automotive and heavy duty truck parts experience. Must work well in a team environment with strong communication and customer service skills. High Performance Automotive Mechanic - Carz Performance

Carz Performance is growing and we have an opening for a well experienced aftermarket Mechanic. Must understand how late model OBD2 high performance vehicles operate and how changes affect them. Must have common sense, can multi task without forgetting things and someone who is organized and can complete tasks in a timely fashion. ASE certification required. Must have basic set of hand tools & proper storage for them, specialty tools are provided by the shop. Daily duties will include mechanic work on high performance cars such as engine installs, supercharger & turbo installs, other engine performance part installs, brake jobs, suspension work, keeping the shop clean, strapping cars on the dyno, help answer phones when busy, retail sales, and providing customers with accurate information regarding their questions & inquiries.
