Reefer General Manager -Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

The General Manager of the Reefer Division (GM) is responsible for the Reefer Fleet’s operation from its financial performance, to the operations - sales, billing, payroll, expenses, drivers and staff. Profitability and ability to be competitive in the reefer market without limit to top notch customer service, safety, maximum revenue per truck, and minimal deadhead are all part of the job. The GM has to ensure that the OM is properly training and overseeing dispatch and drivers to ensure/maintain the Maximum Customer Service that Western is well known for. The GM will keep VP up to date on all aspects of the reefer operation: needs, wants, goals, and performance metrics. The GM is responsible for: pricing and costing to ensure profitability, Sales directives, as well as drivers earnings, so that it is a win win situation for all involved. The GM will be responsible for overseeing the OM’s hiring and disciplining of the drivers in the reefer department. The GM will also oversee the OM’s managing of his/her staff in dispatch. The GM will approve and be responsible for driver’s expenses and paperwork. The GM oversees the Operations Manager (OM) and Sales Manager (SM). Work schedule is Monday – Friday 7 am to 4 pm or what is necessary in order to schedule in equipment and manage issues. On call status is required for issues/problems. Dress is mid formal business attire (no jeans, except Fridays). This person/position will also be a part of Western’s “A Team” and will be required to be involved in team meetings, events, projects, and leadership of Western.

 

Sales Consultant – Western Distributing Co. - Beverage

Western Distributing is seeking a Sales Consultants for the Wine Division. Individual will service and sell Off and On Premise customers in an assigned territory. Will be responsible for brand building by driving distribution, selling in and building displays, cold box placements, pricing management, point of sale merchandising, promotions and shelf management. Candidate must have the ability to create a compelling business proposition focusing on various customer needs. Must be service oriented and respond quickly to customer requests. Individual must stay aware and inform the company of any competitive activity in addition to managing and tracking required data. Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to adapt and build strong business relationships with diverse customers. Bachelor’s Degree, minimum two years experience selling wine or buying wine as an employee of a retail outlet, valid driver license and clean MVR required.

 

Sales Representative - Fineline Graphics and Design

Fineline Graphics is seeking a Sales Representative to establish new accounts as well as service existing accounts. Applicants must possess a positive attitude with strong communication and people skills. Must have firm understanding of Sign Industry and the products used. Applicants must have a willingness to learn and expand job duties including future sales training. Individual will be required to learn and become proficient with company software. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm, additional hours may be required to meet client needs.

 

Heavy Tow Truck Driver - Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

Looking for self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently. Must have valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no DUI, DWI, etc). 2 years towing experience required. Individual must have geographic knowledge of Colorado and surrounding states and be able to work in all weather conditions. Driver must be knowledgeable of vehicle loading and recovering. Candidates must successfully pass physical abilities evaluation. Candidate must be capable of reading, writing and speaking the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand directions and traffic signals, to respond to official inquires and to make entries on reports and records. Individual must have strong communication skills, maintain a professional appearance and keep a clean organized truck. Must be available to work both days and nights. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.

 

Operations Dispatch Manager - Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

This position will assume responsibility, with the General Manager, for the efficient operation of the department’s fleet. This position will supervise all of the dispatch related jobs including the brokerage position. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A working knowledge of every dispatch and load planner position is essential with the ability to step in and back up every dispatch/load planner position when needed. This position will report directly to the General Manager and will be held accountable for the following activities in a coordinated effort with the General Manager: Coordinate the Coors, Meat Patch, West Coast, and Local/Regional dispatch efforts to maximize efficiencies. These operating efficiencies include, but are not limited to, MPG, RPM, deadhead, idle time, layovers, dwell time, driver hours of operation, and average billable miles/truck. Assist the General Manager in driver management and retention activities. Ensure that all dispatch employees are respectful and courteous to our drivers. This position will ensure our dispatchers/load planners manage the drivers’ dispatch from tender to the proper presentation of the BOL’s. The position will work closely with the General Manager and Sales Manager to identify and procure freight that enhances our efficiencies pertaining to rates and deadhead. The position will be required to travel with the Sales Manager as directed by the General Manager to establish and maintain great customer relations. Our customers will know how valuable they are. The position will be responsible for the training of new employees as well as continuing education and training of existing employees to improve the efficiencies of the operation. The position will be responsible for the daily/weekly reports to assist the admin department in their duties. The position will be responsible for driver time off management to ensure we do not have more than the maximum allowable drivers off at any one time. Other duties include, but are not limited to: manage trailer temps, Coors weather mitigation program, yard check management, breakdown issues, and shop coordination on maintenance issues. This position will ensure all company policies are communicated to the dispatch employees and adhered to. This position will be responsible, through the General Manager, for the discipline involved with the enforcement of these policies. Hours are from 6:30 to 3:30 or until the night shift is on station with a proper pass down. Position will be on call and available 24/7/365. The position must coordinate all time off to ensure the General Manager will be on station in your absence. Dress code is business casual except for Friday jeans day. Business travel requires business formal dress.

 

Driver Recruiter -Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

The Driver Recruiter (DR) is responsible for soliciting, interviewing, processing, hiring and retaining drivers for all divisions of WDTC. The DR will construct and manage Western’s recruiting program while consulting with managers from all divisions for their support/input/needs/requirements ensuring all of Western’s trucks are full. Must have experience with Microsoft Office. This individual will also be part of Western’s “A Team” and will be involved in team meetings, events projects and the leadership of Western. Work Schedule is Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 4 pm with on call status for issues/problems.

 

Trailer Mechanic – Western Truck & Auto

Seeking a Trailer Mechanic for general repair and preventive maintenance on fleet dry vans and refrigerated trailers. Work schedule is Tuesday – Friday 2 pm to 10:30 pm and Saturday 7 am to 3:30 pm.

 

Vinyl & Sign Installer – Fineline Graphics and Design

Main job duties will include installation of signage, vehicle spot graphics and vehicle wraps. Will work closely with production manager and install crew in order to efficiently and successfully complete vinyl and signage work load. Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must have the desire and ability to keep work environment clean and tidy for work efficiency and customer satisfaction. Must be motivated and detail oriented. Experience in Vinyl application required. Job will involve on site as well as off-site Vinyl and Signage installations of all types. Current driver license with good MVR is required. Working at heights above 6’ may be required. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Team Drivers USAC Division - Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

Looking for teams of long haul drivers for USAC Division. Must have firearms qualifications, financial integrity, minimum of 3 years OTR driving experience and be able to pass extensive background checks. Must have Class A CDL and good MVR.

 

Lube Tech – Western Truck & Auto

Seeking reliable Lube Techs to perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on class 8 trucks, trailers, medium and light duty trucks, forklifts and some automotive. Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Class A license preferred but not required. Two shifts available Monday – Friday 6 am – 2:30 pm and 2 pm -10:30 pm.

 

Automotive Technician – Western Truck & Auto

Automotive technician needed for high volume repair shop. Applicants should be familiar with all aspects of automotive repair, some medium duty experience helpful. Candidates must have strong communication skills. Individuals must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and supply their own tools. Class A license helpful but not required. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 6 am -2:30 pm with some Saturdays

 

Block Machinist/Engine Assembler – Madcap Racing Engines

Responsibilities to include: block boring, honing, line honing, etc. Knowledge of CNC and some engine assembly experience helpful. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

 

Truck Mechanic – Western Truck & Auto

Seeking a Diesel Truck Mechanic for fleet repair shop. Preventive and general truck repair. Cummins diagnostic experience and CDL helpful but not required. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm.

 

Part Time Administrative Assistant / Dillon – Western Truck & Auto

This position will be responsible for general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned. Individual must be detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills. Work schedule will be 3 days per week, 8 hour shifts.

 

Machinist -Winberg Crankshafts

Winberg a manufacturer of performance automotive parts is seeking full time manual machinists. Duties will include: manual mill operation, manual lathe operation, hydraulic press operation, manual grinding and general work area cleanliness. A general understanding of basic physics and math is required. Work schedule is Monday – Friday.

 

Shop Mechanic Automotive & Heavy Duty – Western Truck & Auto

Duties to include: perform complete and accurate diagnosis of vehicle mechanical breakdowns, manually or by means of computerized diagnostic tools. Communicate with Front Office to ensure complete and accurate estimates are in place prior to customer notification. Discuss repairs with customer upon request. Perform DOT inspections as required. Ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely fashion. Individuals will be responsible for shop clean up, disposal of parts and materials along with other duties assigned by management. Must have valid driver license (CDL helpful) with clean MVR. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 2 pm to 10:30 pm with some weekends.

 

Parts Driver – Western Truck & Auto

Duties to include picking up parts from various vendors, parts warehouses and performing shop clean up duties when not driving. Must be familiar with Denver and surrounding areas. Will pick up and drop off trucks for service repairs when needed. Will be required to lift up to 80lbs and must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles. Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills. Must have valid driver license (Class A CDL a plus) with clean MVR. Work schedule is Tuesday – Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday 7 am to 3:30 pm.

 

Mobile Mechanic / Dillon – Western Truck & Auto

Duties to include: perform complete and accurate diagnosis of mechanical breakdowns, manually or by means of computerized diagnostic tools. Communicate effectively with dispatch office and customers throughout the repair process. Write accurate and complete estimates for customers and obtain approval for repairs. Order and facilitate delivery of parts for all repairs. Perform DOT inspections and miscellaneous shop repairs as requested by manager. Stock and perform scheduled maintenance on assigned service truck. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Airbrake, scan tool and laptop training is helpful but not required. Must have valid driver license with clean MVR.

 

Roll Back Tow Truck Driver - Western Distributing Transportation Corp.

Looking for self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently. Must be at least 25 years old with no felony or misdemeanor convictions. Must have valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (no DUI, DWI, etc.). Individual must have geographic knowledge of Colorado and the surrounding states. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Candidates must successfully pass physical abilities evaluation. Candidates must be capable of reading, writing and speaking the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand directions and traffic signals, to respond to official inquires and to make entries on reports and records.
